Of coats & things

Hi guys,

this week I’m mostly offline. I’m spending a few days at my Dad’s with my daughter before I’ll be heading to Berlin on Thursday for a string of gigs with my good friend & frequent collaborator Annika Fehling.
(Short version: Thursday at art.gerecht, Friday at Zimmer 16, Saturday at Café Tasso - Friday’s gig will be broadcast live on the net at www.rockradio.de, starting at 8 pm)

On Sunday I played a real nice gig with Chris Reiss on upright bass at Disharmonie Schweinfurt. A wonderful venue, good sound, an enthusiastic, if smallish, audience. It was a lot of fun to try out a handful of brand new songs. Look out for the review in Schweinfurter Tagblatt.

And then there’s this: I demoed a number of new songs on Sunday morning and while I was at it, I played Dylan’s beautiful Man In The Long Black Coat. It came out ok, I think. Here’s my solo home demo:
