Hi guys, while on tour in Germany & the Netherlands this November, Annika Fehling and I made up our own version of Townes van Zandt’s beautiful song “If I Needed You”. I read The Catcher In The Rye at age 18 and it was the first novel that really spoke to me, that meant something to me. It was the first novel I read that I felt spoke directly to me. I’ve since found other novels I can relate to … but I don’t think I’d have found them if it hadn’t been for this. And I love Salinger’s letter to this producer! Markus
